At Our Place Café, our mission is to empower women from migrant and refugee backgrounds—including those living with disabilities or recovering from family and domestic violence—by providing practical training, employment pathways, and a safe, inclusive environment to rebuild confidence and independence. We envision a connected and equitable community where every woman, regardless of her background, has the opportunity to thrive, share her culture, and contribute her talents. Guided by values of empowerment, inclusion, dignity, sustainability, and community, we aim to create a social enterprise that nurtures skills, celebrates diversity through food, and reinvests its success back into the people and communities it serves.
